Yes, we have water, sewer, electricity with 30 and 50 amp in majority of our sites.

Do you have trailer parking?
We have limited area for trailer parking but can accommodate most trailers. Please contact us if needing extra parking space so we can arrange it for you.
Are you located close to trails?
Yes, we are conveniently located on US Forest Service Trail #7 for snowmobiles and Forest Service Trail 213 for UTVs.
Do you have cell phone coverage?
Yes, we have an AT&T/Verizon tower located near the campground (just look for the tall fake tree), but Verizon coverage is very spotty through the area.
Do you have internet?
We do have public WiFi in the restaurant and lodge area only. However, there is AT&T/Verizon cell coverage in the campground.
Do you have A restaurant?
Yes, bar & restaurant located at the Lodge with varying hours throughout the year. Please check our "announcements" tab for updates on hours and restaurant specials.
Do you have gas for sale?
No, we do not sell gas at this time.
Are linens and towels provided in cabins?
Yes. Daily towel service is available upon request.
Do cabins have kitchens?
Cabins have kitchenettes, and the Lodge rooms have full kitchens.
Do kitchens have utensils?
Each cabin has the basic essentials, a dorm size refrigerator, hot plate, coffee maker & toaster.
Do cabins have grills?
All cabins have charcoal grills. We have charcoal for sale or bring your own.
Do cabins and RV sites have picnic tables and fire rings?
Yes there is a designated picnic table and firepit for each cabin. We have firewood for sale. Per Forest Service rules, firewood cannot be transported into or out of BHNF due to disease and beetle containment.
Do you have ice for sale?
Yes
Are cabins air conditioned?
Yes. Cabins are equipped with mini-splits and lodge rooms have wall AC units.
Do I need to get a permit if I'm planning to bring my own ATV or UTV to ride the trails?
Yes, you will need to purchase a Black Hills Trail Permit for $25 for an annual permit.
do we sell trail permits?
Yes we do sell the trail permits on site or you can obtain one from various locations in the Hills or online. You will need to purchase an ATV Decal from any SD treasurer's office if you are not DMV plated in your state.
What do I need if I'm planning to ride my machine on the highway?
Effective 7/1/2023, the State of South Dakota will no longer sell temporary permits for any ATVs or UTVs. An annual ATV decal will be sold for $50.00, plus a mailing fee of $1.50. Required documents include copy of driver's license and proof of social security number for ALL owners, proof of ownership (title or registration--if state does not issue titles or registrations, insurance card can be used), and a revised Form 1030, Non-resident Off-Road Vehicle Permit Application.
